These archetypes or patterns are used with the Backlog Strategy exercise and were presented at Scrum Australia 2018, and are intended to encourage more conversation about what is an appropriate delivery strategy. Check them out and see if one of them resembles your current project or product and do they then challenge your initial ideas about how to organised a release plan and how to do the work?
Another useful tool is that can be used in conjunction with the archetypes is the Backlog Strategy Canvas.
