Team Charter Exercise
This workshop provides an opportunity to write a team charter for teams as part of a workshop exercise, or for real professional teams.
Learning Objectives
- To be able to create a team charter
- To think deeply about what the team needs in order to succeed
Timings
Allow for 10-20 minutes to think about the team and their needs.
Materials
Each team should have a printed copies of:
Connections & Concepts
- Introduce each other from the team
- Have a brief discussion on the purpose of the team and the work to be done
Concrete Practice
- Complete the team charter working through each element at a time
Closure
- Discuss and reflect on the team charter as a whole
- Adjust any areas in the team charter
