Debrief Cards

The debrief cards are used during workshop reflection and retrospectives to help attendees form thoughts about their experiences and deeper learnings from the workshops. This is assuming that most learning in a workshop happens during a structured retrospective or debrief.

Approach

The cards can be used in several ways:

• Printing out the cards and placing them on a whiteboard or wall and then asking the attendees to select a card that resonates strongly with them, which can then be the next topic of discussion for the group in the debrief
• Print out the cards and cut out to form a deck that can be shuffled and the next card turned over by an attendee. This provides a bit of a surprise and randomness to a debrief discussion
