Some of the best ideas to problems are already being done by other competitors and other industries, and bringing these existing solutions to the table can help to get started and identify alternative approaches.
Breaking into small groups research existing ideas building an inspiration board with related concepts, solutions and approaches to the problem.
Share the ideas back with the larger group in short lightening talks and affinity map the ideas together. Also make note of any deeper insights gained during the exercise that may help to derive a differentiating feature for your product or service.
